StudioScreen is the successor to
MiniClock+StudioScreenFree (see bottom of page) which was a simple analogue clock and status
display that interfaced to the mAirList playout software. This is a display for use on wall-mounted LCD monitors - it looks great on a
4:3 17" screen or perhaps something a bit larger, like a 22"...
As well as
the clock+date displays, the current song from your playout system can be shown
along with 4 status indicators for Mic Live, Phone, XD and Door/Alarm. StudioScreen is fully functional
for 30 minutes at a time until registered - discounts are available for multiple purchases.
The LED indicators can be hidden so if you don't need all 4 displayed, you can
configure just the ones you need.
Controlling the LEDs is
accomplished via game/joystick buttons and/or Velleman K8055 USB interface. If you require assistance
with the interfacing, we can provide an assembled+tested USB Joystick or K8055
interface.
Home/Personal users can purchase
for just £30 - this excludes the TCP/UDP control of the LEDs.

Using a compatible playout system (EncoDAD, Myriad etc), IP commands can be
used to trigger the LED indicators.
A simple string: LED1_ON or LED3_OFF controls the illumination.

StudioScreenFree
This applications offers a simple display featuring analogue+digital clocks,
date, backtiming and "now playing" song display. The now playing
information is read from a text file created by your playout software and is
automatically updated every few seconds. A station+slogan caption is also
displayed at the top of the screen.
